Musab Bera Akbaba (Number 915) Shines in GK4 Kart Series Mini Rookie Round 1


The GK4 Kart Series Mini Rookie category kicked off with an exciting first round at the Mariembourg Circuit, Belgium, on March 8, 2025. Among the standout young drivers was Musab Bera Akbaba, who put in an impressive performance throughout the weekend, securing third place overall in the championship standings after two strong heat races and the strongest final race.





Qualifying: A Strong Start


Bera, driving for WJS Racing, showed his speed early in the weekend. He set a best lap time of 1:02.745, which earned him third place in qualifying, just 0.427 seconds behind pole-sitter. This result positioned him well for the upcoming races.






Heat 1: Consistency Pays Off


In the first heat, Bera maintained his strong form. Despite fierce competition, he crossed the finish line in third place, securing valuable championship points. His best lap time was 1:03.348, showing his ability to maintain competitive pace throughout the race.







Heat 2: Another Strong Third- Place Finish


Heat 2 Bera finished third once again, keeping his position among the top contenders. His best lap time improved slightly to 1:03.485, proving his ability to adapt and stay competitive in different race conditions.






Finale: A Fantastic Podium Finish!


In the crucial finale race, Bera took his performance to the next level, finishing in second place, just 0.055 seconds behind the winner! His total time of 11:42.520 over 11 laps showcased his ability to maintain consistency and push for top positions. His best lap time of 1:03.292 further reinforced his speed and skill on the track.








Championship Standings: A Strong Position


With his double podium finish, Musab Bera Akbaba currently holds third place in the Mini Rookie Championship standings with 102 points. He is tied with Maxime Smet for second place and remains a serious title contender as the season progresses.
